Fabric, art, and creme brulee

mm...creme brulee, this isn't just any creme brulee, it's the one you'd have to hunt for. Quite literally.

Curtis Kimball, the chief behind the mobile cart, sells creme brulee and creme brulee only at...well, it's hard to tell where he'll be next time. That's right. He tweets to his followers the time and location of where he'll be selling his cart full of special flavored creme brulees. (And sometimes he'd delete the tweet after just to make finding him harder. Jesus.)

Gotta give him mad props for using twitter so fully, creatively, and deliciously.

There it was, a tweet revealed that he'd be at Fabric 8 on Saturday from 3-430pm.
After first hearing the whole creme brulee cart from Michelle's cousin, Michelle and I decided to go on an adventure to hunt this guy down.

In front of Fabric 8, 2:53pm.

It was our first time coming to this part of San Francisco. (Michelle's a SF resident, too)
We didn't pay much attention to the store at first and just focused on our crave for the creme brulee, until we stepped in. Fabric 8's full with surprises.

What a pleasant welcome.

The store was astoundingly artsy, with paintings, toys, and cloths placed neatly across the walls.

The store was split into 2 sectors. The front being the retail area and the back as the spacious gallery.

THIS is their floor. (Hold yourself together and pick up your jaw)

Their ceiling.

This one caught me off guard.

It's the restroom.

The tub's actually got a few fish, too.

Then, there he was. Hidden within the gallery. with his cart, torch, and creme brulees.

He's got dark chocolate, lavender, apple jacks, vanilla, and frosted flakes for the day.

4 bucks a piece, I got lavender for Michelle and Apple Jack for my tummy. (I heard frosted flake was heaven AFTER i bought the two, geez.)

His handy dandy cart.

This picture's random. The process of waiting.

Creme brulee was pretty good and creamy. I really liked the experience, having to look for it made them taste extra good. Woot for innovation.
