Canon Lens UPGRADE! with test shots.

My uncle Peter came by USA for a business meeting. He's an IT/Comp guy during the day and a gadget/camera man at night.

Very cool uncle; Not only that he's funny, he hooked me up with my first digital camera(when those things are still the size of bricks), my first Palm(when nobody ever carries a digital calender around their waist), and today..a couple of Canon LENSES!

More of a hand-me-down, for he plans on getting a Nikon full frame in the future and resell the old Canon.

Like reselling a used car, the value goes up with the default setting/equipment. So in return, my uncle took the 18-55 Canon standard lens.

Here are the lenses:
To replace the the standard 18-55, my uncle gave me the 24-85mm.

It's also got an ultrasonic feature to make auto focus faster.

The second lens (The Big Gun.) Sigma 12-24 Ultra wide angle.

Isn't it b-e-a-utiful?!

The lens diameter comparison. I got the 50mm lens cover on the left.

Test shots:

Indoor, zoomed all the way out. ISO 1600. 1/15 (I think)

Same angle, but zoomed all the way in.

Then, the ultra wide angle.

My room in 1 shot. Holy crap.

Breakfast w/ fam.

Lastly:

I had to do it.
