Got SD cards from Black friday. They were 8GB SD cards by Polaroid. $24.99 each, then reduced to $14.99 with $5 rebate, making them $10.
So far so good.
Tried them yesterday with my brother, and here are the problems:
1. For every 5-6 pictures I took, one of them would vanish.
2. One of the cards appeared to be 4GB.
c'mon, what?!

It's my senior in college, yet I've never given "camping for _anything_ " a try. COINCIDENTALLY, a friend of Jim's, whose never camped out before, is in town to visit- sounds like perfect timing.
I asked the readers from helpbendecide to vote for the place for me- good choice.
The store opens at 5 AM, we were there since 10PM.
still too late.
This family was the first in line, been there since 5AM last morning!
Mah-Jong, of course, was pretty cool for a camp out.
Some even brought their own power supply! ..that just made mah-jong look like child play.
These are the peeps ahead of us.
and the ones behind.
Then, it rained.
Experienced it all for the first time.
.
.
.
5 AM, door opened and, surprisingly, no elbowing, no screaming for help, no running, neither.
Fry's got it all down. There were just 50 more lines in store.
.
.
.
Sun was out when he headed outa the store.
Mic's still got his posture after a good..9 hours of waiting.
Kevin..not so well.
Funny thing was, we didn't plan on quiting. 30 minutes away, Santana Row, our next destination.
AND THEY GOT ABSOLUTELY NOTHING.
by the time we realized that, it was 9.. and just before we grab food..we crashed.
We took a nap in our cars.
a fairly good one.
Skipped breakfast, we went straight to lunch.

Got home with the goodies from a long day.
Good times, good Friday.

It's a new iTouch/iPhone app for all UC Davis students(for FREE). Max Guan, a fellow UC Davis student, knows the pain of waiting for buses..so he come up with a new app for us!
I've designed 3 posters to help spreading this glorious moment:
"Don't be that guy."
"Stop waiting blindly."
"Clean."

The app tells you where the bus is, when it'll arrive, and how cool you'll be among your friends.

Working on a new project:
I'm Benson. 21 year old. Student. I sell shirts. And I face plenty of decision making moments, daily. Some hard, some not so hard. So perhaps, you guys can help me make some?
Help me decide.
I'll need more than 30 votes within the next 5 days, or else I'll make my own decision.

Our short film got into the Western Grand Finale for Campus MovieFest. Red carpet, delectable cuisine, and a group of great friends made it one hell of a night.

CMF's an epic event. More than 20,000 students participated and hundreds of short films submitted to CMF this year. 75 were picked by the judges for screening and down to 16 for the evening ceremony.
The place was packed.
More than 1000 attendees.
...but we still got our red carpet moments.

The ladies.

Future star.
Saw Kenny for the first time since months ago when we first shot the film.
Congrats on nomination of Best Actor, man.
Celebs came out, too.
Mike Rowe from Dirty Jobs.

The 2 and a half hours in the theatre was intense, everyone was anticipating to see their own films on the screen. No one had a clue which films were entering the finale. 16 were picked and they play 4 at a time, splitting the event into 4 segments.
The films were the best of the best. As the short films were played, it was hard to grasp the fact that all the films were made within a week.
Nora Zehetner from Grey's Anatomy presented Best Drama, Best Comedy, and Best Picture.
..and guess what?
Hell yes. Congrats, crew!
Best comedy went to.. Top of Her Class.
Best Picture went to..The Butterfly King
See ya Next time, Abe, the MC.
Check out the rest of the shorts here. They'll blow your mind.
