Aside from photography, he also loves papercrafting, which inspired the name "Cranefold". He loved the art of it and how, with the patience and precision, he could make something creative and beautiful with just hands and paper. Crane was chosen because of its simplicity in the origami world and also how eloquent it can be in the real world. "Simple moments made beautiful" is what he sees the two fields have in common and it's what he strives to do in photography.
